Create/Scale Startup in India – 2nd half 2020 intake

Applications are now closed for this cohort. Get on our mailing list to be notified of future ones.

This program creates and scales startups into India for those that have an idea, or, have an existing startup, respectively.

We take the approach that successfully creating or scaling a startup into another country is not simply introducing stakeholders & partners, but, going that extra mile in creating a local Indian team that is passionate about the startup and will work together across countries in finding the best fit. What works in one country may not necessarily work in another country. We believe our 3 month incubation & acceleration programs offer the teams across countries to come to a common ground, work things out, and, find the best path forward towards success.

  • Entrepreneur/s with an idea, OR,
  • An existing startup can apply

In both cases, we will enable create a team, incubate or accelerate as required, and, launch into India.

Primarily, you need to have an idea or startup that is solving a BIG problem, or, tapping into a BIG opportunity in the market place AND that it can be scaled globally. There are few other things we look for as well. The application form requests for more information that is used to assess your application.

  • Searching and selecting a team takes about 3-4 months. Upon successfully finding a team,
  • You will begin a 1 year journey with Stademy as detailed below,
    • Initial 3 months is devoted to incubation/acceleration of startup
    • Remainder of the year, the startup will be supported & guided by us.

In total, the program duration is about 15-16 months.

Incubation/Acceleration is done with teams across countries. The sample incubation program is here. As is understandable this will be tweaked for each startup, as required. A similar acceleration program also exists.
